Dear Friends,
I wanted to write this letter to inform you about a few of the great things happening in our campaign right now:
• It’s Official! - Last week we turned in our final paper work to be on the ballot in November. We achieved this by gathering over 3000 signatures of voters in the district. Suzan and campaign volunteers went door-to-door and attended local events to gather the petitions 3 months ahead of schedule. Candidates can either collect the petition cards, or pay $1,900 the put their name on the ballot. Mr. Dean spent $32,000 to mail the petition cards to only republicans, and “save precious campaign funds.” Once again Mr. Dean is trying to fool voters by claiming he has the same grass-roots support Suzan truly has.

• Kicking It Into High Gear! - The campaign is pleased to announce it has hired Nic Zateslo as the Campaign Manager. Nic grew up in Tallahassee, and knows the North Florida area. He is an Eagle Scout, and is currently a senior at USF studying Political Science and History. While in Tampa he has been the President of the USF College Democrats for two years and worked on congressional and local campaigns in the Tampa area. We welcome Nic to the campaign, and know he will do a great job in helping us secure a win in November!
